How to transfer files via a wired LAN

Greetings to all who come into my web, I say welcome.

I want to share my experience about how to move large files from computer to another or from a laptop to another laptop or from computer to laptop and vice versa. It is not possible if we have to move files larger than 40-100 Gb flash disk premises.

In my experience, I move the files up to 100 Gb hard disk into a computer using a cable IDE / SATA. But if this cable we have to remove the hard disk of our computer. But there are easier ways if we can move large files without having to remove the hardware from our computer.

This time I will explain how to transfer large files via LAN cabel. Of course everyone was familiar with the wired LAN. We can obtain the LAN cable at computer stores and are an inexpensive, very affordable. Heeehe

If you are already preparing for a LAN cable then you are ready with the following steps:

  3. Plug the end of the LAN in the computer 1, and the other in the computer 2. If they are correct, the indicator will light up on the second hole LAN.
  4. If you're ready, on the second computer, go the Start Menu>> Settings>> Network Connections>> Local Area Connection
  5. If already opened, in General, locate and click 2 times the Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)
  6. If already open, click Use the Following IP Address on both computers.

  9. Next, make a folder on computer 2, for example named "MOVE". Then right-click the folder, select Properties
  10. Select Sharing
  11. In the Network Sharing & Security, Checklist Share this folder on the work, Checklist Allow network users to change my files.
If it is successful, the folder is usually changed so there are hand-drawn

  12. Before you send data from one computer, turn off FIREWALL
    How:

    Start menu>> Settings>> Control Panel

    Select Windows Firewall

    Click Off

    OK

Then it's off, then you will be ready for another move data

  13. In a computer, open Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer , just type the address Ip Address (192.168.0.2) computer 2. Type:  \\192.168.0.2 in the address (above).
Then in the computer 1 will get a folder that was created in shared computer 2 and earlier (MOVE folder). From computer 1, you just move / send file / data as much as possible to MOVE folder earlier.

notes:

If you are finished moving the data, do not forget to enable the firewall again that had made off. If Internet users are setting TPC / IP and Obtain IP address automatically, disable the option again Use the following DNS server addresses.
