Nokia has surprised everyone this morning by formalizing the PureView 808; a Symbian Smartphone Belle can take pictures at 41 megapixel format unbelievable. We knew the Nokia 808 PureView had incredible video capabilities and it would mark a real turning point in the history of photography and video on Smartphone (read our article " Nokia PureView: building amazing videos that are coming "). And our expectations were well founded because the Nokia 808 PureView combines sensors and algorithms that make it capable of taking high resolution photos of a 41 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and technology on a sampling of pixels developed by Nokia.
How's the result? Of incredibly sharp and detailed pictures even in low light, and the ability to save images in a compact format for sharing by email, MMS and on social networks. Both say that the announcement sensation at the press conference at which we were well represented. Only small problem to some, this Smartphone will be hosted by the Symbian OS and not Windows Phone Beautiful. What to silence rumors that announced that Nokia would launch more Smartphone’s Symbian. The Nokia 808 also includes Nokia PureView Rich Recording for CD quality audio, a recorder / player, full HD 1080p and proprietary technology, Dolby Headphone that transforms stereo content into surround sound over any headphones.
