ZTE does not intend to let themselves be counted by the other mobile manufacturers. The Chinese announced that it will present no less than eight new models at Mobile World Congress, including a quad-core Smartphone as Nvidia Tegra 3. The two major Chinese manufacturers such as ZTE and Huawei have done a remarkable rise in recent years. They appear quite similar paths since they started with entry-level phones, often proposed as white label operators. With the advent of Android, they seized the opportunity to build cheap Smartphone, to characteristics often exceed those of their competitors more upscale, at the same price.
It seems however that this might become insufficient. The two Chinese brands will benefit the Mobile World Congress that starts in a few days in Barcelona to move up a gear. ZTE, which is already the fourth global manufacturer of mobile phones, has introduced three mobile upstream of this show world of mobile telephony: the PF200 ZTE, ZTE N910 and ZE Mimosa X. The latter should also be the first dual-core Smartphone Tegra 2 to be readily available to less than 200 Euros. And the Chinese will not stop their way. He announced today that it will present no less than eight Smartphone during the Mobile World Congress.
