Nokia offers a few hours on the OVI Store N9 a plug-in for the Firefox browser that lets you play Flash content present on web pages. Incredible as it may seem, Nokia itself has just developed a plug-in to make its N9 compatible with Flash technology. It's been a month since the manufacturer was working on the new topic and has nothing of a surprise. What is, however, it is that Flash has never been mentioned for the Windows Phone, while smartphones running the Microsoft OS supposed to be become a priority for Nokia. However, the absence of this technology is less intrusive. And iPhone owners, iPad Touch and iPad are doing fine without for years.
This is the most surprising choice of Nokia we were keen to emphasize here. Going back to the days of the announcement, Nokia offers to download from the OVI Store N9 of a plug-in that will allow users of this Smartphone to display Flash content in the sequences of many sites. Did not, unfortunately, Nokia N9 at hand, we can hardly tell you more about the performance of the Flash Player. However, if you're lucky enough to own one, know that the Flash plug-in question is only compatible with the Firefox browser recently released for the N9. You will find below a video demonstration by MyNokiaBlog.com. It is in English, but even those who do not speak the language can get an idea of performance.
If you own the N9, or even are thinking of getting it, download this file here.
