The Toshiba TG01 was not a stranger as he was one of the pioneers to really be considered a high-end Windows Mobile Smartphone with its fast processor Qualcomm Snapdragon Blazing aboard. It seems that these days we hear about the many features that meet the specifications easily, and even exceed, those offered the TG01 some time ago. Now that the announcement of Windows Phone 7 Series has really hit the paper industry, Toshiba is it taking long strides they see the new platform as an opportunity and not a problem. They are not really too bad for the new Windows Phone 7 Series are not backwards-compatible with the latest generation of applications.

Rob Wilkinson, managing director of Toshiba Information Systems Division of Australia, said "Toshiba Australia is seriously looking at what opportunities are there for us in the Smartphone market. We talk to retailers and carriers. I have a model in my draw and we make a decision shortly. "They have intentions of bringing a brand new Windows phone 7 Series phone with new applications that will work simultaneously on two Toshiba laptops and netbooks. From what rumor far, the Toshiba TG03 is a variant of the existing and TG01 will feature camera 5 megapixels and 3 speakers with a 5.1 - it was intended to be launched with Windows Mobile 6.5, but now it is apparently the most could be postponed to get Windows Phone 7 Series onboard.
