Samsung has just filed with an
agency three new names for its Android smart phones: Galaxy Grand, First and
Galaxy Next. The official bodies of trademark protection and technical
certification are inexhaustible source of leaks. As often happens when a
builder in general, and Samsung in particular removal of names from the U.S.
agency that administers them (United States Patent and Trademark Office), the
names in question are soon on the public square. This had already happened in
Korean manufacturer in January and even late last year, with the following
names revealed: Joy, Fresh, Sleek and Core.
Since then, despite the Las Vegas CES and Mobile World Congress in Barcelona,
Samsung has not announced any model have to be one of the names mentioned at
this time.
What is no one seems in any way to curb the enthusiasm of Korean who has filed three new smart phones names: Grand Galaxy, Galaxy and Galaxy Next Prime. These names certainly do not tell us anything about the characteristics of products bearing those names. Nevertheless, they provide valuable information. While we were wondering with the previous wave of registered names if Samsung did not seek to simply dispense with the term "Galaxy". It now appears clear that the Galaxy will remain that of Android for several months yet. Also note that the Next Samsung is already available for some markets, including India. This is actually a simple variant of the Galaxy Mini.
