American version of the HTC X One

The American version of the HTC X One, which incorporates a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset S4 instead of a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3, has finally been benchmarked. Initial results are impressive. For the record, HTC will distribute in all countries with the 4G (LTE) dual-core version "only" a Smartphone. The Nvidia Tegra 3 is indeed currently not compatible with integration of LTE this has forced the Taiwanese manufacturer to review its plans in countries where the 4G is a reality. For the latter, he opted for dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset S4. So it is with this equipment that the U.S. version of One X goes out to the country of Uncle Sam, some initial results of benchmarks recently made their appearance on the forum Android Central.

And the least we can say is that the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset S4 impresses at all levels in the benchmark in question. Web performance, it can even whip the Asus Prime Transformer that turns yet with a Tegra chipset 3. However, a little clarification is necessary: the benchmark used for measuring the performance of the One X Web browser is an application ... Qualcomm. So there's a good chance it is particularly optimized for chipsets of this trademark. This does not detract from its performance when compared to previous produce Qualcomm. However, it does not support quad-core configurations as the Tegra 3.
