Skype has updated its famous iOS
application to make calls using VoIP on Smartphone and tablets. It now supports
the display of the new Retina Display iPad. However, video calls are
unfortunately not concerned. Sometimes there are ads that you put water in his
mouth. The fact that Skype comes to update its application for iOS that manages
the display of the new Retina Display iPad is a part. The prospect of being
able to make calls videos with the coil of the speaker that appears in HD is
indeed tempting. But it will not this time. Nor for ever is with the current
iPad actually. Because we must not forget that their cameras are limited to the
frontal VGA (640 x 480 pixels).
So, despite the superb display Retina Display of 1536 x 2048 pixels of the last tablet from Apple, you must be satisfied to see your callers so pixilated. You understand that the update brings compatibility for just Retina Display interface. What is better than nothing in fact? And Skype limit anyway rendering video calls at 720p regardless of the platform. Which is perhaps not as bad as HD video calls are very greedy in terms of bandwidth? Not sure that most users have a desire to spend much of their data plan just to see them more clearly relevant.
